2023 Lynn Wolbarst Sustainability Award: Now Accepting Nominations

The Sustainable Sharon Coalition (SSC) is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Lynn Wolbarst Sustainability Award. Each year the SSC recognizes the work of a community member of Sharon who is making strides in the environmental movement. The award is given in honor of Lynn Wolbarst’s legacy of service. Lynn was a Sharon resident who made significant contributions to the community by seeking innovative solutions to environmental problems and issues. 

The recipient of this award should be an individual who has demonstrated contributions toward preserving and protecting the natural assets of the town of Sharon.  Such an individual could be a teacher, volunteer, student, elected official, advocate or next door neighbor.  Please consider taking a moment to honor a community champion who is doing the hard work to make Sharon a more sustainable community.
