Avoid Single Use-Plastic Items

Do the planet a favor! With the exception of new bioplastic options, these are petroleum-based materials, and many of these items are not recyclable!

COMPOST

There are multiple ways to compost in the Town of Sharon. For food items, the most convenient option is Black Earth Compost which is collected curbside. For leaves and yard waste, there's both curbside and Farnham Road Options.

RECYCLE

There are so many ways to recycle in Sharon, including: curbside single-stream (no plastic bags) and textile recycling,' plastic bags & film at Shaws, tires, scrap metal, large bulky plastics, tires, and electronics at the DPW, & ink cartridges at local retailers. Did we miss anything?

TRASH
