How to Exclude Your Property from Mosquito Control Applications

Each year Sharon participates in a mosquito control program managed by the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District (NCMCD). The program provides comprehensive services to monitor and control mosquito populations in order to prevent diseases such as Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and West Nile Encephalitis (WNE). Wide area treatment of wetlands and adjacent properties with pesticides may be carried out as necessary to control mosquito populations. Individual property owners however may request that their land be excluded from pesticide treatment.

Residents who do not wish to have their properties treated with pesticides may request an exclusion here.

Visit the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District for information about mosquitos in Sharon, tire recycling, and spray schedules.
